Two routes exist for getting entry authorization sorted, and picking the right one saves both time and hassle down the line. Travelers can either apply for a Cameroon visa through the online eVisa portal or work through an embassy for cases the digital system doesn’t cover.

Online route: fill out the application, upload required documents, pay the fee by card, then receive the approved eVisa by email within nine to eleven working days for print-out and travel.

Embassy route: involves downloading forms, gathering photographs and paperwork, and submitting everything in person, with processing often stretching to four weeks depending on workload.

Since Cameroon offers no visa on arrival, sorting this out in advance isn’t optional. Double-checking that all details match passport information, choosing the correct visa type, and applying well ahead of departure all help avoid rejection at review.
